Our mission is to empower, strengthen and champion our communities through meaningful community action and connection.
We strive to empower, grow, and develop opportunities that inspire and motivate the community and enable people, who would otherwise be unlikely to meet, to connect and actively be involved in matters that affect their lives and communities.

The objectives of CAN Consortium are as followed:
- Provide a network of local community organizations to enable effective involvement and co-design of services both locally and nationally.
- Attract funding for these services and projects.
- Increase the visibility of CAN Consortium and all member organizations.
- Increase and coordinate opportunities for all by developing the educational, life and employability skills of the socially and economically disadvantage within the area.
- Promote diversity and social inclusion for the residents of the area.
- The preservation of local buildings and community centres
- Prevent gang violence and retaliation.
- Prevent and reduce anti-social behaviour
- Promote a safe environment for people of all age ranges
- Bring together different VCSE organisations within the community as well as bringing together different races, religions, and faiths within the wider local community.
